Ping test
How long does your internet take to respond?
Ping is the round-trip time to the server. We take 30 measurements and also show the variation (jitter).
Ping and jitter in plain language
Imagine shouting in a room and waiting for the echo. Ping is the time until the echo arrives. Jitter is how much that time changes from one shout to the next. A low, steady ping makes games and calls feel natural; a ping that swings a lot makes voices choppy.
