How do I know if my internet is good?

High speed isn't enough. See the four signs of truly good internet and how to check each one.

Good internet is internet that does what you need without you noticing it exists. Four things matter for that — and only one of them is speed.

1. Enough speed

Download to receive (videos, pages) and upload to send (calls, photos to the cloud). One person watching HD video does fine with 15–25 Mbps; a family with several screens needs much more.

2. Fast response (ping)

It's the reaction time. Even with 500 Mbps, a 150 ms ping makes games and conversations lag.

3. Consistency (jitter and stability)

A connection that swings a lot freezes in calls, even if the average is good. That's why BunnyTest measures variation throughout the test.

4. Nothing lost along the way

Packet loss makes voices choppy and games 'teleport'. Ideally it's zero.

How to check in practice

Run the full test, then repeat at night (peak time) and near the router. If everything stays good in all three situations, your internet is truly good.
